Polestar is the electric spinoff of Volvo. The Swedes, being the design savants that they, have authored an annual concept car design competition for the general public.
This year they teamed up with the folks at Hot Wheels to sweeten the deal: winner gets their car made IRL.

The design contest's rules are simple: make whatever you want, but it must be able to be produced in 1:64 scale.
Although the prompt essentially gave preference to the wildest concepts, I elected to make something that not only could be produced as a scale model, but that Polestar would actually build. Starting with some sketches, then prompting AI for some concept renders (see below), the end product is the "Polestar Seraph".
A true utility vehicle, the Seraph contrasts Polestar's clean Scandinavian electric aesthetic with the ruggedness of an overlanding COE, finished in unassuming sage green. With a focus on aero while maximizing cargo space and ground clearance, I designed something I'd buy, 1:64 or 1:1.
